Allow me to correct the Cadets on the beginning history of Skipper. Skipper was originally conceived by retired U.S. Army Captain Homer Hickam a to have a response to Virginia Military Institute's "where's your cannon" way back in 1963!

May we please see the processioin of the graduates into the stadium? Not much chance of seeing them during the ceremony itself.

I have a former student receiving her degree today and had hoped to see her march in but there just aren't enough cameras to capture all 5,485 undergrads in addition to DVM grads. I am sure the university did all it could to show as much of the processional as it could. I feel fortunate that I was able to see the live stream. Congratulations Kayla!

For a technical college, you should have had a professional broadcast of this ceremony. The majority of the time, we saw the alumni association add. Now at 11am, we can not even see it. Live feed is down and we are back to the screen saying, “The Ceremony will tentatively begin at 9:30am”. It cut out right in the middle of a speech. Really?!?! This should have been broadcast as professional as a NFL game. Incredibly disappointed! Sorry but this is shameful!

Me thinks Virginia Tech needs more Marxist professors to become great again.
